Jesus Pours Forth His Graces at Conyers
The Apparition
Room at Conyers (at right) where the Blessed Mother appeared in the left corner. Jesus appeared
many times on the crucifix in the top center.
The more than seven file boxes of
testimonies from pilgrims on file with the Archdiocese of Atlanta document the healings,
conversions and other blessings at Conyers. When her monthly apparitions ended,
the Blessed Mother said that the graces would continue to flow from Her "home" at
Conyers, that Her children should come in faith to receive these graces and that
those who support God’s work at Conyers will be blessed abundantly. The graces continue
to be bestowed at Conyers and pilgrims continue to give testimonies of physical
and spiritual healings.
A most extraordinary grace was given at Conyers on October
13, 1998. The night before, thousands of pilgrims filled the Holy Hill and the surrounding
area for a prayer vigil. Previously, Jesus had said a number of times, to Fill the
Holy Hill and watch what I will do. On the next day, the first-ever live TV broadcast
of an estimated 100,000 pilgrims praying the Rosary as the Blessed Mother appeared
to the visionary was transmitted worldwide live. The Blessed Mother announced that
many souls were taken from Purgatory to Heaven to honor Her under Her title of “Our
Loving Mother” that God presented to the world that day. Later, Jesus further explained
just how extraordinary were the graces that day. He said that the souls of all of
the relatives in Purgatory of all the people who prayed in union with Our Loving
Mother during the apparition on October 13, 1998 (whether they were at the apparition
site or afar), ascended into Heaven with Her that day.
Jesus also
appeared on the crucifix (at right) that was in a room adjacent to the Apparition Room when the scientists
recorded signs of life in the corpus on the crucifix the instant the visionary saw
Jesus appearing on June 13, 1993. This room is also open to the pilgrims and has
been dedicated as a Shrine to Divine Mercy.
